These are substantial established trees, offering an excellent head start for customers wanting immediate garden impact rather than waiting for smaller hedging plants to mature.
One of the greatest advantages of purchasing our 7–8ft Green Leylandii Trees is the immediate height they provide.
Whether you are looking to screen neighbouring gardens, establish a tall boundary hedge, reduce overlooking or create a more private outdoor space, these impressive specimens provide a substantial starting point.
For larger gardens and landscaping projects, planting a pallet of 20 trees can quickly introduce an attractive evergreen boundary with an established appearance.
With appropriate planting distances and regular maintenance, the trees can gradually fill out to create a dense, continuous evergreen hedge.
Spring:
Fresh green growth develops rapidly as temperatures increase, encouraging newly planted trees to establish and produce vigorous new shoots.
Summer:
Dense evergreen foliage provides attractive screening, privacy, natural shelter and beautiful rich green colour throughout the warmer months.
Autumn:
While surrounding deciduous trees begin losing their leaves, Green Leylandii retains its foliage and continues providing valuable garden structure and screening.
Winter:
Leylandii remains evergreen throughout the colder months, maintaining privacy, greenery and boundary definition all year round.
Growth Habit:
Naturally fast-growing, vigorous and upright. With regular trimming, Leylandii can be maintained as a dense, attractive hedge at the required height and width.

Position: Full sun or partial shade. Green Leylandii is adaptable and suitable for a wide range of UK garden locations.
Soil: Prefers fertile, well-drained garden soil but tolerates many typical soil conditions. Avoid permanently waterlogged ground.
Planting Distance: For these EXTRA LARGE 7–8ft specimens, approximately 1 plant per metre is a practical starting point for establishing a substantial evergreen hedge, depending on individual plant width and the desired finished density.
Watering: Water thoroughly immediately after planting and continue watering regularly throughout establishment. Extra large specimens require particular attention to watering during warm, dry or windy weather.
Growth Habit: Naturally upright, vigorous and fast-growing evergreen conifer. Under favourable growing conditions, established Leylandii can produce substantial annual growth.
Maintenance: Trim regularly to encourage dense, compact growth and maintain the desired height and width. Avoid cutting heavily into old brown wood, as Leylandii may not readily regenerate from this growth.
Support: Due to their impressive 7–8ft height, suitable staking or support is recommended after planting, particularly in exposed locations, until the trees are securely established.
Mulching: Apply a suitable mulch around the base of each tree to help retain moisture, suppress weeds and support healthy root establishment.
